I’m Stan Amster, a rural landscape, commercial, and corporate photographer based in Central Vermont. My work celebrates the natural scenery and rural landscapes of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

I love capturing the natural and rural landscapes of Vermont and the surrounding states. The countryside of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine continues to inspire my photography.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. The cooler days and nights bring beautiful opportunities to photograph the changing landscape. Old farms and trains have a special place in my work, too.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STORY
My interest in photography began in the 1980s, when I picked up my first real SLR camera: a Pentax Spotmatic 35mm. Landscapes and the rural countryside have been my primary focus ever since.
Over the years, I’ve grown into a more well-rounded photographer, with work spanning scenic, commercial, and corporate photography. Landscape photography remains at the heart of what I do.
